You can donate now by e-transfer to Port Royal Lighthouse Association, or through PayPal. Cheques can be made out to Port Royal Lighthouse Association and mailed to: Port Royal Lighthouse Association 3331 Granville Road Port Royal, NS B0S1A0 Port Royal Lighthouse Association (PRLA) was founded in August 2022 to take over ownership of the Schafner Point lighthouse from the Annapolis Heritage Society. The sole purpose of PRLA is to restore and maintain the Schafner Point Lighthouse known by locals as the Port Royal Lighthouse. Since acquiring ownership of the Schafner Point Lighthouse in October 2022, PRLA raised over $60,000 through grassroots fundraising. With a matching funds grant from Parks Canada awarded in 2023, and a massive community volunteer effort, the 2023 Great Restoration was completed in just over three months.
